Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 August 2026  ·  Effective: 27 August 2026

The short version. AdmitMap gives you a statistical estimate of your admission odds and college costs, built from public data. It is information, not advice, and it is not a prediction of what any college will decide. You must be at least 13 to use it, and if you are under 18 a parent or guardian has to agree to these Terms and be the one who buys. Reports are delivered immediately and are not refundable. If something goes wrong on our end, email us and we will fix it. This summary is for convenience only — the numbered sections below are the actual agreement.

1Who we are

AdmitMap ("AdmitMap", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Arlan Nurmanov, an individual sole operator based in the Republic of Kazakhstan. AdmitMap is not a company, a school, a licensed educational consultancy, or an agent of any college or university.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and us covering the AdmitMap website, the onboarding funnel, the reports we generate, and any related tools (together, the "Service").

By using the Service — including by starting the funnel, creating an account, or purchasing a report — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2Who may use AdmitMap

AdmitMap is available to people aged 13 and over. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

If you are under 18, you may use AdmitMap only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. That parent or guardian must read and agree to these Terms, must be the person who makes any purchase, and is responsible for the student's use of the Service. By making a purchase for a student under 18, the parent or guardian confirms that they have read these Terms, that they accept them on the student's behalf, and that they authorised the payment. Where a student under 18 uses the Service, we treat the parent or guardian as the account holder for all purposes, including payment and support questions.

If you are a parent or guardian and you did not authorise your child's use of AdmitMap, contact us at support@admitmap.com and we will close the account and delete the data.

The Service is not directed to and may not be used by children under 13 under any circumstances. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

AdmitMap covers admissions to colleges and universities in the United States. You may use it from anywhere in the world, but you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you live. We do not offer the Service where doing so would be unlawful.

3What AdmitMap is

You give us information about your academic profile — grades, test scores, coursework, activities, honors, an approximate family income band, the schools on your list, and optionally an essay. We combine that with public data, primarily the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard and institutional Common Data Sets, to produce:

AdmitMap does not submit applications, contact colleges on your behalf, guarantee admission, guarantee financial aid, or provide counseling by a human being.

4Estimates, not promises

This is the most important section of these Terms. Read it carefully.

Every number AdmitMap shows you is a statistical estimate, not a prediction and not a promise. Specifically:

AdmitMap is information, not professional advice. Nothing in the Service is educational counseling, financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Decisions about where to apply, where to enrol, and how to pay for college are yours. You should treat AdmitMap as one input among several, alongside your school counselor, the colleges themselves, and your family.

You agree that you will not rely on AdmitMap as the sole basis for any application, enrolment, or financial decision.

5Your account

Some parts of the Service require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@admitmap.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

One account is for one student. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or your report access to anyone else.

How we handle the information in your account is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6Payment and pricing

AdmitMap is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing auto-renews and nothing recurring is charged to you.

Product Price What it includes
Odds Report $19 USD Acceptance probability for every school on your list, academic and extracurricular strength analysis, comparison with admitted-student profiles, Reach / Target / Likely tiering, and every ED, EA and RD deadline.
Odds + Financial Aid $29 USD Everything in the Odds Report, plus estimated aid for every school, net cost per year after scholarships and aid, affordability comparison across your list, and average salary after graduation.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you live. Applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated and shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every AdmitMap purchase. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller on the transaction, handles your payment details and any tax, and appears on your bank or card statement. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card number.

Access to a purchased report is granted through a licence key issued at checkout. Keep it — it is how you get back into your report.

We may change prices at any time. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.

7Refunds

AdmitMap is digital content that is generated and delivered to you immediately on purchase. Once your report has been generated, it cannot be returned.

All sales are final and purchases are non-refundable, with two exceptions:

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are buying digital content delivered immediately, and — to the extent the law where you live allows you to do so — you agree to begin receiving it right away.

Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record, they may in their own discretion issue a refund under their policies. Nothing here limits that.

Dissatisfaction with the content of a report — for example, an estimate lower than you hoped for — is not a defect and is not grounds for a refund. Please read section 4 before you buy.

8Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access that breaches this section, without refund.

9Your content

Everything you enter — your profile, your school list, and any essay you submit — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content solely in order to operate the Service for you: to calculate your estimates, to generate your report, and, where you ask for it, to produce essay feedback. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your essays to train any model, and we do not sell your data. We do not publish your content or share it with colleges. See the Privacy Policy for the details, including how long we keep things and how to have them deleted.

You confirm that any essay you submit is your own original work and that submitting it to us does not breach anyone else's rights or any rule of your school.

10AI-generated feedback

Our essay grader and parts of our analysis use artificial intelligence, provided through Anthropic's API. When you request essay feedback, your essay text is sent to Anthropic to be scored and the result is returned to you. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models, and we do not retain your essay text on our servers after grading.

AI output can be wrong, inconsistent between runs, and confidently mistaken. Treat essay and activity scores as a second opinion to think about, never as a verdict. Do not submit anything to a college on the strength of an AI score alone.

You are solely responsible for anything the AI produces for you, including checking it for accuracy before you act on it. We have no control over the underlying model and accept no liability arising from the feedback it generates.

AdmitMap does not write essays for you and is not intended to be used to produce work you present as your own where that would breach a college's rules on application integrity. You confirm that any material you submit is your own, that you are permitted to submit it, and that you will not misrepresent the role AdmitMap played in producing anything you send to a college. Doing otherwise is your responsibility, not ours.

11Our intellectual property

The Service — including the AdmitMap name and marks, the interface, the report design, our scoring models, our rubrics, our compiled datasets, and all text and graphics — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to view and use your own report for your own college application process. It gives you no other rights.

Underlying public data, such as the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard, belongs to its original sources. College names and logos belong to those institutions, are used for identification only, and imply no affiliation with or endorsement by them.

12Availability and changes

We are a small operation. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may modify, suspend, add, or remove features at any time.

If we discontinue a product you have already paid for, and you have not yet received it, we will refund you.

13Termination

You may stop using AdmitMap at any time and may ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your use puts the Service or other users at risk. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will normally warn you first. Sections 4, 9, 11, and 14 through 20 survive termination.

14Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Without limiting that, we do not warrant that any estimate, probability, score, cost figure, deadline, or piece of school data is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances, and we do not warrant any outcome — admission, rejection, waitlist, scholarship, or aid award. You use the Service at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and you may have rights that these Terms cannot remove.

15Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, loss of a place at a college, loss of scholarship or aid, tuition or application fees paid, lost data, or lost profits, arising from or connected with your use of the Service — even if we were told such damages were possible, and even if a remedy in these Terms is found to have failed its essential purpose.

Our total liability to you for all claims combined is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you submitted that you did not have the right to submit.

17Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan at our place of residence.

This does not take away rights you cannot lose. If the consumer law of the country or state where you live gives you mandatory protections, or the right to bring a claim in your local courts, those rights still apply and nothing in this section removes them.

Before starting any formal proceeding, please email support@admitmap.com. Almost everything can be resolved that way, faster and at no cost to either of us.

18Links to other sites and services

AdmitMap links out to places we do not control — college websites, admissions offices, each school's own Net Price Calculator, and third-party services that supply things like institution logos. We provide those links as a convenience.

We do not review, monitor, or endorse third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. Once you leave AdmitMap, these Terms and our Privacy Policy no longer apply — the other site's do. Follow those links at your own risk, and read their terms before giving them anything.

College and university names, logos and marks belong to those institutions. They appear on AdmitMap for identification only and do not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the institution.

19Time limit for claims

Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service must be brought within one year of the date the claim arose. After that, it is permanently barred, except where the law where you live does not allow such a limit.

20General terms

Severability

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is read as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable, or removed if it cannot be. The rest of the Terms stay in full force.

No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms on some occasion, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

We may transfer or assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to another person or entity — for example, if AdmitMap is sold or reorganised into a company. You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone, and any attempt to do so is void.

No agency

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship between you and us.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier understanding or communication on the same subject.

21Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you — by email if we have your address, or by a notice on the site — before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. Purchases you already made are governed by the Terms in force when you made them.
